Head lice are a nuisance - they are often found on school children, and are
spread by the sharing of combs, or hats, etc. The child will start having an
itchy head, and will scratch it a lot. Check the hair for the lice and nits - the lice and their
eggs have a sticky substance which holds them in the head and hair. You can
try to comb them out, but the "glue" is so sticky it is difficult to get
them all out.
Don't use gasoline or other unconventional methods to remove headlice. Most store products I have seen have
toxins and carcinogens in them (it scares me to think that some of those ingredients might cause damage to the brain), and many
do not effectively remove the lice.
There are two lice removal products that I trust - for safe non-toxic solutions that
effectively get rid of lice. Email for more
specific information on either product. Totally organic and natural lice
removal solutions. I have a limited amount of one, and the other is from Canada - both
retail for about $20/8 ounce bottle, but shipping from Canada is more.
