Did you know many ingredients in your personal products are used in antifreeze & degreasers??? Don't put poisons on your kids, yourself, your family! We are concerned about possible harmful and permanent effects from certain ingredients in daily use products. You and your family are important to us, and we offer safe, effective alternatives to everyday products, as well as specialty products, such as cosmetics and car performance products. Here are some potentially harmful ingredients in many common products, but NOT in the products we promote: DEET, alcohol, alpha hydroxy acid, aluminum, bar soap, bentonite or kaolin, collagen and elastin, DEA, fluoride, glycerine, hyaluronic acid, lanolin, mineral oil, petrolatum, propylene glycol, sodium chloride, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, talc, among others. Some of the above ingredients are just cheap petroleum product based fillers, some are the same as used in engine degreasers and antifreeze, another linked to Alzheimer's disease, some may suffocate the skin's breathing surface, some dry up the skin and help in aging the skin, others may cause harm on the eyes or in the brain, among other potential problems. No more dry or flaking skin - all softer and smoother, plus less facial wrinkles! I was told I do not look my age since I don't have the typical crow's feet! These products don't strip your natural oils, and we no longer have "ring around the drain." The products are so effective for us that we use less - and it costs less. Many detergents cause reactions in people - this should not. Be sure to wash all new clothes before wearing them - they often have chemical treatment on them that could react with your skin. ~~~~~~~~~~ COSMETICS: Do you know what is in the make-up you use? There are toxins and harsh ingredients in cosmetics that can cause harm. The industry is unregulated and some ingredients in cosmetics can be dangerous. Senator Kennedy wrote a pretty powerful government report about the dangers of unregulated cosmetics. The danger exists. Safe Sun Care Products Proper sun protection is an essential key to slow down the aging and wrinkling of skin. Sun protection is also essential to the prevention of skin cancer. Go to "Products" and then to "Sun Protection". We don't get sunburned since we diligently use SPF 30 sunscreen. We use SPF protection lip balm, as well. And when I got a burn (only a few minutes outside without the sunscreen), only the after-sun product Rebound helped to soothe and heal my skin. Relief for your back & neck when using a laptop, and eliminate the heat Laptops are ergonomically awful - the screen and keyboard aren't in the right places to keep yourself healthy - you have to lean over to work with it, and then there is the problem of heat - which can and does cause other health problems. One wonderful invention is the LapGenie - it is an adjustable desk to set your laptop into the best position it can be. It folds up for easy travel, and has many other uses. Check it out.
