If you can, try to get your work done while you are at work and don’t bring it home. When you are done at work, leave it all there and take a break to do something fun or relaxing.
You should take time to disconnect from your work (but there are times when you miss a deadline and need to finish it at home – just try to keep from procrastinating so it isn’t a habit and you can get it done earlier at other times).
If you can make a rule about keeping work at work and home things at home, your psyche will be better and less stressed.
After work, eat well, exercise, read or hang out with friends, watch something or listen to music, make music, volunteer or anything you like to do. Clear out the work brain and be there for you.
If you can find the right type of work/play balance it will do you a lot of good. Work hard then play hard or lay low (whatever is best for you).
